2 big onions (or 5 ways)
50 g grated Gruyère cheese
2 slices Country bread
0.5 l Poultry (or beef) broth
10 g Butter
0.5 cuil. Flour

Preparation steps

1-Peel the onions and cut into thin slices.

2-Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the onions for 3 minutes.

3-Sprinkle onions with flour, mix and cook for 30 sec.

4-Salt, pepper and pour the broth. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.

5-Pour the soup into 4 individual bowls in the oven.

6-Arrange the slices of country bread on the soup, sprinkle with grated cheese and go under the grill for a few minutes.

7-Serve immediately.
