This is a delicious lasagna dish that is packed-full of all of the flavors of
traditional cordon bleu. It is an easy dish to make and one you can make any day of the year.

Ingredient List : Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna

8 lasagna noodles, cooked
2 cups of chicken, fully cooked and shredded
1 cup of ham, diced
5 slices of Swiss cheese
5 slices of Provolone cheese
½ cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
16 oz. container of cottage cheese
1 egg, large
1 tablespoon of parsley, fresh and dried
2 teaspoons of onion, powdered
¼ teaspoon of black pepper

Ingredients for the homemade white sauce :

2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of flour, all-purpose
1 cup of chicken broth
1 cup of milk, whole
½ teaspoon of garlic, powdered
½ teaspoon of onion, powdered

Instructions : Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a small saucepan, over medium heat, add the butter and,
once the butter is melted, add the flour and whisk until smooth
and thick. Add the chicken broth, garlic, onion, and milk.
Whisk until smooth and bring the mixture to a boil.

Prepare the lasagna noodles according to the directions on the
package.

In a medium bowl, add the cottage cheese, egg, parsley, onion,
and dash of pepper and mix well.

Spray a large casserole dish with cooking spray.

In the casserole dish, add ½ the chicken to the bottom, followed
by ½ the ham and 1/3 of the white sauce. Add a layer of 4
lasagna noodles on top.

Spread ½ of the cottage cheese mixture and top with some cheese slices. Repeat the layers again with the remaining ingredients, making sure to end with the slices of the provolone cheese.

Pour the last 1/3 of the white sauce on the top of the casserole
and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.

Place in the oven to bake for 45 minutes. Remove and allow to
cool for 10 minutes before serving.
