Ingredients : Chicken Tagine with Raisins and Onion

2 chicken breasts
100 g of raisins
3 medium onions, sliced
1 teaspoon of turmeric
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of granulated sugar (optional)
1 ½ cup of water
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
Salt, to taste

Directions : Chicken Tagine with Raisins and Onion

In a tagine line up the slices of onion then top it with the chicken. Pour
the oil on top and sprinkle with spices.

Allow them to cook for 5 minutes then add the water, cover them, and
allow them to cook for 15 minutes.

When the time is up, add the raisins on the top and sprinkle the sugar,
then let cook until the onion and chicken become soft.

Serve it warm and enjoy.
