This will soon become your new favorite lasagna dish to make during the fall season. Light yet hearty, this is a lasagna that will leave you feeling full for hours.

Ingredient List : Spaghetti-Squash Lasagna with a Turkey Meat Sauce

2 cups of marinara sauce
1 lb. of turkey, lean and ground
3 cups of spaghetti squash, fully cooked and roasted
16 oz. of ricotta cheese, part skim
1 egg, large
1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
½ cup of parmesan cheese
1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded and part skim

Instructions : Spaghetti-Squash Lasagna with a Turkey Meat Sauce

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the ground turkey and
cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until browned. Pour in the marinara
sauce and continue to simmer for 5 minutes.

In a medium bowl, add the ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning,
and egg.

Spray a large baking dish with cooking spray.

Spoon some meat sauce in the bottom of a large baking dish
and place 1 ½ cups of the spaghetti squash on top.

Add a layer of ricotta cheese mixture on top. Top with
parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. Add the remaining
meat sauce and the cheeses.

Cover with aluminum foil and place in the oven to bake for 20
minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional
10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes
before serving.
