Crispy Fried Cod Fillets

1 large egg
½ cup of milk
1½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
4 cod fillets
1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
1/3 cup panko crumbs
Coarse salt and black pepper, to taste.
1 teaspoon of paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ c. Cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Tartar sauce, to taste.
Quarries of lemon, to the pleasure.
Place the Dutch oven over medium heat. Add oil to cover the surface.
Beat the egg, milk and mustard.
Add the cod and remove the excess liquid when transferring it to the flour mixture.
Combine the flour, panko, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
Dredge the cod in the flour mixture.
Place the steaks in a hot pan and cook for 2 to 4 minutes per side, until the fish is browned on both sides.
Transfer to a plate with a spoon to drain and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Serve with tartar sauce and lemon slices.
