1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry white win
2 tablespoons minced garlic, or to taste
5 apples, cored and cut into wedges
3 sweet onions, peeled and cut into wedges
1/4 cup chicken soup base
1 (15 pound) whole turkey, neck and giblets removed
2 cups butter, divided
Heat a gas grill for low temperature. Apply a little of the butter all over the turkey, inside and outside, and then apply all over alongside meat base.
Cut left butter into cubes and then toss along with onions, apples, and garlic in a sizable bowl. Stuff the bird with the mix and set in a disposable aluminums roasting skillet.
Fold the turkey skin around the throat area to overlay the hole and next turn the turkey over and add wine in to the opening at the alternative end until the turkey is loaded or the can is vacant.
